THE MONTREAL BLITZ ARE THE NEW IWFL NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONS

The Montreal Blitz have made history! As the only CANADIAN Women’s tackle football team that competes in the US based IWFL, the Blitz have been crowned the IWFL North American Champions. The Blitz defeated the Clarksville Fox 26-6 on July 26th, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. This championship gives the IWFL an ‘International’ feel to a league which has often been viewed as strictly American.
